Spanish giants Real Madrid know that they will need to win by three goals against Borussia Dortmund in their UEFA Champions League second-leg match tonight at the San Bernabéu or otherwise the Bundesliga side will make it to the final to Wembley on May 25.Dortmund were impressive last Wednesday in their 4-1 trashing of Real Madrid at the Signal Iduna Park as the young Dortmund side should they can, on their day, beat anyone in the world.

Normally a 4-1 is enough to see a team through, but Dortmund aren’t taking any chances and are going with all the necessary seriousness into the game.

“Real Madrid believe they can come back against us,” Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp said. “And if they believe so, they will act accordingly. We are ready for Real Madrid to try everything they can and we do not feel that we are already in the final. “

“We feel the first-leg result was much better than expected. We know we will have to fight tomorrow with our best strengths. We know we are not a normal semi-finalist and will behave accordingly.”

Meanwhile Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho thinks his side still have a chance. “If we play like we did in Dortmund then it’s difficult to see us doing it. But if we play the same way we have played in many games and we have the spirit to win a great game, we will do it.”

“We are an excellent team and we have excellent players. We are going to play to try and go through. We have to go for it right until the end of the game. Football is football and everything is possible.” Mourinho added.

When coach Jürgen Klopp was asked about pressure and if his team could crumble under the weight of expectations, he said, “No, I’m sure we won’t. We played Bayern Munich in the German Cup final last year… and my team was pretty cool (5-2 winners in that game).”

“The only way to reach your dream is to be brave,” Klopp in his very own style added.

Both teams rested players over the weekend with Dortmund replacing 10 of their midweek starting eleven against Fortuna Düsseldorf, while Real Madrid had some regulars on the bench in the derby against Atletico Madrid with the injury to Cristiano Ronaldo causing a lot of interest in Spain.

“We could play with certain people that we do not normally play with and with an unusual system. So I will not say anything. Cristiano Ronaldo is fine. Alvaro Arbeloa and Marcelo are injured and the rest are available,” said a cryptic Mourinho.
