Drama starts in Mohun Bagan

Two years have passed since they clinched their last major title. Captain Odafa Okolie promised to the club supporters to keep faith in them and support them. Though I-League is knocking at the Mohun Bagan door, it seems like Mohun Bagan club have changed their nameplate from a ‘Football Club’ to a ‘Theatre’. Before the start of the 34^th Federation cup, there was the Tolgay drama and right now after their horrible exit from the tournament you can say it is also a Tolgay related drama. Though Tolgay was the centre of attraction last time, but this time three people are sharing the drama stage. Two heavyweights Tolgay, Captain Odafa and Coach Mr. Santosh Kashyap himself.

Let’s take a look at what actually happened yesterday—

1. Without informing anybody, including his players and Mohun Bagan officials, coach Santosh Kashyap went to Mumbai because of his ‘Personal Work’.
2. Odafa did not practice.
3. Assistant coach Bernard tendered his resignation.

In this situation Tolgay blasted in front of the camera “I will ask some questions to our coach when he will be back…why did he make baseless comments regarding the fight between Odafa and me?”

But why did Mr. Kashyap go to Mumbai without informing anyone? When a news reporter called him he told, “I am busy…ask secretary Anjan Mitra whatever you want to know.”

At that time when everybody asked Anjan Mitra to make some statements, he did not. Within a span of 15minutes Kashyap called back the reporter and said, “I am sorry…I was not able to talk at that time…actually I suddenly came to Mumbai due to some personal works…from next Monday we will start our training session in full force.”

Now the situation is such that the drama which started in the Mariner’s tent, will entertain the Kolkata football for a couple of weeks.
