Hello and Welcome to the daily EFL Championship Transfer corner.
There was a been a lot happening in and around the second tier of English football with players being linked to a move in the Premier League while some are drawing interest from fellow Championship clubs.
Hence, without much ado, let's look what today's edition of transfer round-up has in store for us.
#4 Josh Brownhill wanted by Premier League clubs
According to Bristol City Live, midfielder Josh Brownhill has drawn interested from many Premier League sides which includes Leicester City, Bournemouth, and Brighton.
The midfielder signed a new deal till 2021 with an option to extend it further for one more year. Last week, club's CEO Mark Ashton said -
Premier League clubs talk to us consistently about our players and their availability and where we are with their development. Our answer is always the same. We’re under no pressure to sell
There is no doubt about the quality of Brownhill, and it would be difficult to keep him if any club comes up with the right bid for the Englishman.
#3 Wolves are interested in signing Moritz Bauer from Stoke City
Nuno Espirito Santo's side is interested in Stoke City right back, Moritz Bauer, as reported by Wolves correspondent, Tim Spiers. The club from West Midlands have made a good account for themselves in the Premier League this season and would want to strengthen the back line to ensure a top half finish at the end of the campaign.
Matt Doherty is already the first choice right back for Wolves but the inclusion of twenty-six year old, Moritz would give Nuno more options down the right-hand side. The Austrian signed for Stoke in January 2018 but found hard to get a regular first team spot. However, he has enough quality to be a reliable back for Doherty in the side.
