Erik Lamela
After a disappointing start to his career in England, the Argentine has picked up the pace and is producing consistent performances. He needs to add goals to his name if he wants a regular place in the starting lineup but should start against Liverpool.
Dele Alli
Alli delivered a sparkling cameo against Crystal Palace which will see him come into the lineup ahead of Vincent Janssen. Alli needs to get the better of his national team colleague, Jordan Henderson if he wants to create chances for his teammates.
Christian Eriksen
The Dane's consistency is his biggest problem as he seems to switch off during some of the big games. He needs to be sharp especially on set pieces to produce the right delivery as defending against set pieces have been Liverpool's Achilles heel.
Harry Kane
Kane has had an indifferent Euros and hasn’t been the best in the first couple of games this season. He needs to get back to his scoring ways if Spurs want to replicate last season's exploits. Kane does have a decent record against Liverpool and will look to add to his tally against Jurgen Klopp's men.
