Alexandre Lacazette had a dream start to his gunners career

It really shouldn't have been a surprise to Arsenal fans that Alexandre Lacazette scored 94 seconds into his Arsenal career - the Frenchman has now scored in a stunning 5 consecutive seasons on the first day, racking up 7 goals in 5 games since his streak started in 2013.

The Frenchman's second touch of his Arsenal career was a wonderfully guided header that reeked of a striker's instinct, and the nonchalant celebration brought back memories of a similar French forward. Lacazette was brilliant in his hold up play as well, holding off Leicester's defenders for the second goal.

The Frenchman showed the versatility in his game when Giroud came on, switching to the left and putting in some telling crosses. Arsenal may very well have found a complete striker.

Leicester City have a fair few positives from the game, but what may go under the radar is how well Harry Maguire played on his Foxes debut. The centre-back popped up all over the pitch in Leicester's counter-attacks and made a couple of crucial interceptions as well. The Englishman may be disappointed at being outmuscled by Giroud for the winning goal, but his ambition of an England call up is very reachable if he continues in this manner.
