RB: Danny Simpson

Danny Simpson has slowly become an important part of Leicester’s back four. In Leicester's title winning season, he was second choice for the first half of the season, but he gradually earned his place in the side and has never looked back.

The Manchester United graduate has since maintained his place and was first choice right back for the whole of the 2016/17 season. Even though the team were unsuccessful for the most part, he remained solid at full back, and he will keep his starting place this season.

CB: Harry Maguire

Harry Maguire was a bright prospect in a struggling Hull City side throughout last season. The Englishman played an important role in Hull’s strong finish especially, after Marco Silva arrived at the club.

He will certainly look to continue that good form into this season with his new club Leicester, and his performances last season will undoubtedly earn him a place in the Foxes’ starting 11.

CB: Wes Morgan

Captain Wes Morgan will definitely retain his place at the heart of Leicester’s defence. If the Jamaican international can replicate his form from Leicester’s title winning season, he will help keep goals out at the King Power in the forthcoming season.

As Premier League teams become familiar with Leicester’s playing style and forced Leicester into a higher line in the 2016/17 season, Morgan struggled. However, with a new defensive partner, he could once again become the force he was throughout the 2015/16 season, something Foxes fans will be desperate to see.

LB: Ben Chilwell

Ben Chilwell was a highly wanted young player with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool having made bids for him before he even played a Premier League game. He hasn’t yet lived up to the hype with the left back being exploited easily, but it looks likely he will now be a regular starter in the Leicester team, as he was at the end of last season.
