Barcelona, July 27 (IANS) Spanish football club Espanyol has announced that a friendly match against English club Southampton will be played on August 3 at Saint Mary's stadium.
Espanyol will play another friendly on August 6 against Everton, ending its tour in England, Espanyol said on Tuesday, reports Efe.
The match against Southampton, who finished in sixth place in the English Premier League last season, will be a real test for coach Quique Sanchez Flores.
Both teams met the previous summer in early August with the game ending in a draw.
