The midfield and attack look full of quality and pace.

Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann looks like they will be starting as the two of the three in the attack. Vlad Chiriches had a forgetful stint at Spurs and hasn't exactly set the world alight at Napoli, but what he has been is impeccable in his International career. He will face a tough test against the likes of Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann.
The veteran Razvan Rat should be starting as left back despite playing only 15 minutes of football for his club in this calendar year. In attack, Cordoba striker, Florin Andone will be entrusted to do the bulk of the scoring, as he will most likely be the lone man upfront. He has been in form this season, scoring 2- goals for his club and will be looking to expose probably the only weakness in the French squad, its defence.

It will definitely be a game of Romania’s tactical discipline against the free flowing creative attack of the French. My prediction for the game is France winning by a 2-1 scoreline.
