He is fearing for his place in the side with Coutinho set to play in his favoured midfield position. Juventus, Arsenal and Liverpool are said to be interested in the Croatian but the midfielder's camp has already suggested that the player is keen on a move to England.

Valencia preparing a bid for Francis Coquelin

According to the Mirror, Valencia have tabled a £12 million bid for Francis Coquelin who has fallen out of favour at Arsenal this season.

The Frenchman was left out of Arsenal's squad that lost to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup with details supposedly being formalized in his transfer to Valencia.

Liverpool linked with Kevin Strootman

Jurgen Klopp is all set to use some of his Coutinho funds to try and lure AS Roma's Kevin Strootman to Anfield. Premium Sport has written that Roma are keen to lessen their losses on the midfielder who has had a torrid time with injuries since joining the capital club.

Strootman has undergone three operations in 18 months on his left knee. But that has not deterred Klopp who admires the Dutchman and sees him as a direct replacement for Juventus bound Emre Can.

Juventus out of Sergey Milinkovic-Savic race

Despite being mightily impressed by the midfielder's form this season for Lazio, Juventus have pulled out of the race to sign Milinkovic-Savic in the summer.

Il Bianconero can report that Lazio's valuation of the youngster at €170 million has proved to be the deal breaker for the Italian champions.

It is now believed that the path is clear for Paris Saint Germain to sign their desired target.

The in-demand Bayer Leverkusen winger has revealed to Bild that he dreams of a future in the Premier League and already has a club in mind. Chelsea and Manchester United are linked with the talented winger while Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the 20-year-old.

Talking to the German outlet, Bailey said, "Of course I have a dream club, but I will not tell. Basically, England was and still is my dream. And if I keep working hard, I'm sure it will work someday." He is valued at around £40 million by the Bundesliga side.

Schalke sign Hoffenheim's Mark Uth

Schalke 04 have secured the services of Hoffenheim forward Mark Uth for the next season. Uth was in the final year of his contract with Hoffenheim and has now signed a four-year deal at the Veltins Arena.

He is Schalke's third signing of the month. The German giants have already signed Marko Pjaca on loan and have also signed Nurnberg forward Cedric Teuchert.

Sources close to the Chilean superstar has revealed that Alexis Sanchez could shift loyalties to the Etihad by next week. An injury to Gabriel Jesus has spurred City into action who now want Sanchez in their ranks before the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Independent understands that Arsenal are holding out for a fee of £35 million whereas City believe that £20 million is a fair valuation of a player who is desperate to leave the club and is in the final few months of his contract.

Bojan Krkic eyeing a return to Stoke City

After the dismissal of Mark Hughes, Bojan Krkic has reignited his intentions of playing again at the Bet365 stadium.

Bojan was a fan favourite at Stoke but was loaned out to Alaves in the past summer due to a reported fallout with Mark Hughes.

Arsenal and Liverpool's prime January target chase has received a huge boost by the comments made by AS Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim. The boss has hoped to keep Lemar under his tutelage but has admitted that the situation can change any moment.

L'equipe has quoted him saying, "We are not used to selling in the winter. But the transfer window lasts until the end of the month and many things can happen."
