FC Barcelona Transfer News: Bojan inches closer to AS Roma

Bojan Krkic seems to be slowly moving towards the exit doors at Nou Camp after the player was targeted by some of the most elite football clubs all over Europe. The young Spanish striker who has been born and brought up in Barcelona has seen himself confined to a substitute role throughout and has shown his inclination towards a newer challenge. The striker looks set to secure a transfer to the Roman giants AS Roma declining teams such as Tottenham in the process. The deal seems to be in the final stages as Bojan will look forward to play for his countryman Luis Enrique who was appointed as the head coach by Roma this summer after he impressed with the Barcelona B side. The 20 year old will be signing on the dotted lines in an agreement that will keep him with Roma for five years in a deal around 10 million Euros.

Bojan Krkic, who has always been regarded as one for the future, could not make it big with the Catalan giants with players like David Villa, Messi and lately Pedro who leapfrogged him into the first team in their squad . The player himself has stated that he is still coming to terms with the happenings and find it difficult to gulp in. Though he will be taking a step that is right for him professionally it would be hard for him to leave the best side in Europe and his childhood club Barcelona. In other news Roma are looking in pole position to sign the Argentine sensation Eric Lamela from River Plate .
