According to Elche president Jose Sepulchre, Manchester United attacker Federico Macheda could be shipped off to the Spanish Second Division outfit on loan.
The Italy U-21 international has previously been loaned out to Serie A side Sampdoria and English Premier League club Queens Park Rangers in order to obtain first team football. Federico Macheda signed professional terms with Manchester United at the beginning of the 2008-09 campaign and proceeded to make his Premier League debut for the club in a close 3–2 triumph against Aston Villa at Old Trafford in April 2009. Despite his obvious potential, the Italian frontrunner has managed to make only 35 league appearances for The Reds.
Jose Sepulchre said: “The agreement between the three parties is complete. We still cannot say that the player will come because nothing has been signed yet.”
