USA will be eyeing revenge against Ghana when they face off each other in their group G encounter on Monday. Ghana and the USA met four times before, but the Africans ended up winning all four encounters. In the last two World Cup, Ghana beat the USA 2-1 in 2006 and 2010 World Cups in the group stages and Round of 16 respectively.

Last time, Ghana made it to the quarters on African soil and this time they will be looking to seek inspiration from their 2010 World Cup performance when they take on the USA on Monday.

Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has admitted a difficult opening group game against the USA in Natal on Monday awaits the Black Stars as the Americans eye revenge.

Jonathan Mensah said, “It's going to be like a revenge (match) for the United States, because we beat the United States in 2006 and we beat them in 2010. And once again we're playing them in the first game. For the first game of the competition, everybody is focused and nervous, so it's going to make the game very, very interesting."

Fans are ready to cheer up their team ahead of mouth-watering clash where both Ghana and USA will be looking to gain 3 valuable points before facing tougher opponents – Germany and Portugal in Group G.
