184 days left for the most awaited tournament on Earth – the FIFA World Cup 2014. The world cup, which begins on June 12 and ends on July 13, will have the best of teams battling it out to claim the top prize. Even though this tournament is one of the most awaited one for the fans, mother nature wouldn’t be so enthusiastic about the tournament.

As per reports, the World Cup will pollutes the environment as much as 560,000 cars would. Air travel will result in the release of 2.72 million metric tonnes of Carbon Dioxide, a greenhouse gas which is dangerous if inhaled in large amounts.

The tournament which includes 32 teams will be played across 12 stadiums and will have 64 games. Brazil, the fifth largest country in the world, will soon plant large trees in order to reduce the amount of emission of greenhouse gases.
