Peru

The South Americans would be appearing in their fourth World Cup after a gap of thirty-six years. The team's best finishes were a quarter-final exit at the 1970 World Cup in Mexico and a round 2 exit at the 1978 World Cup in Argentina.

Denmark

The European side will be playing at the World Cup finals for the fifth time, with their best finish being a quarter-final exit at the 1998 World Cup in France. The side's last appearance in the cup was back in 2010 when they were eliminated in the first round.
