#4 Marcelo

The left-back has been instrumental in Real Madrid’s success in recent times, though he has lost his form. With age, he has grown into a top player but he is now in the twilight of his career.
It seems that at 30 he is already past his peak and might not able to recover anymore. He was so poor in recent weeks that he was dropped from the squad by Santiago Scolari for the second leg against Ajax in the Champions League (though the fans were not happy about the decision).
Despite Zidane’s return as the new Madrid boss, Marcelo continues to be linked with a move to Juventus and will want to reunite with his close friend Cristiano Ronaldo. Due to this, he may end up leaving the club at the end of the campaign and Los Blancos might look to cash in on him, as he is beyond his prime already.
