#2 Jack Butland (Stoke City)
Butland has been regularly linked with a move to Anfield in the last couple of years and has been part of a Stoke City team that were relegated from the Premier League last season, he may be looking for a return to England’s top flight. There is no doubting Butland’s talents as a top goalkeeper, and he has regularly shown his ability at the big moments in the last few seasons.
He may not be the big name that Liverpool fans want, but he is a much more reliable ‘keeper than either of those currently at the club. Given the fact that English players’ values are usually massively inflated, he won’t come cheap. However given that if he signs, it would be from a Championship team, it may not cost as much as it would have done had Stoke stayed up.
