West Ham United

Darren Randolph – 6/10

Darren Randolph had a decent game where he only really needed to switch on in the second-half. He made a decent block and one could argue that the Irishman was unlucky not to get a foul in the build-up to the Manchester United equalizer.

Michail Antonio – 6/10

Struggling to keep a hold of Martial for most of the first half, Antonio grew into the game. He wasn’t really as effective going forward but had a nice shot at goal which De Gea saved.

Winston Reid – 6/10

Winston Reid had a decent game by his standards. Along with Ogbonna, he dealt with the Manchester United forward line with relative ease. He blocked a couple of shots and got yellow carded early into the game for his troubles

Angelo Ogbonna – 6/10

Ogbonna looked fairly composed and solid throughout the game barring an early shot for handball against him. He did reasonably well in the game overall fading a little towards the finishing stages.

Aaron Cresswell – 7/10

Cresswell went forward well and delivered a few good crosses in. He also seemed fairly calm and composed throughout the game. Arguably could have done better for the build up to the Manchester United goal.

Cheikhou Kouyate – 7/10

Kouyate was typically energetic and used his power and physicality to control the midfield. He got an arm in the face from Fellaini for his troubles. He was also booked for a foul on Lingard.

Manuel Lanzini – 6/10

Lanzini offered a willing outlet for attacks, was tidy in possession and showed some good movement. A decent performance from Lanzini overall.

Mark Noble – 8/10

Mark Noble controlled the game in midfield and was the driving force behind much of West Ham’s better plays. He showed some great passing, superb touches on the ball and excellent work rate to take advantage of a visibly slow midfield pair in Carrick and Fellaini.

Emmanuel Emenike – 5/10

Emenike was guilty of some poor finishing having missed clear cut chances as the game progressed. For all the things that happened in the game, he should have made the best of his chances and scored one.

Dmitri Payet – 6/10

The Frenchman had an ordinary game to be fair except for the free kick. Beating a keeper, the caliber of David De Gea is no mean task. Completely hoodwinking him on one is even far more difficult. Payet made both the tasks look easy with his strike. Otherwise, he was well shackled by United all across the game. He got himself booked and could’ve gotten himself sent off had the referee booked him for diving.

Andy Carroll – 6/10

Carroll kept bullying the Manchester United back line across the game. He didn’t do well with his chances though and could’ve been the difference but for fine margins. However, the England international did reasonably well for someone starting for the first time in 12 games.

Substitutes:

Pedro Obiang – 5/10

Obiang did reasonably well after coming on but he could’ve done better for the Manchester United goal.

Diafra Sakho – 5/10

Sakho was decent after coming on. However, he didn’t majorly impact the game beyond a small phase.

Enner Valencia - NA
