Gareth Bale’s much-awaited debut is just round the corner as Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelloti has told reports that Gareth Bale is likely to debut in the upcoming La Liga clash against Villareal.
Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid in the closing stages of the transfer window for a world record fee of £85.3. Gareth Bale’s debut was initially thought to be delayed as it was speculated that Bale was injured when he joined the Spanish club.
The match will be played El Madrigal, the home ground of Villareal on 15th September.
“Bale will travel to Villarreal and will play, although I don’t know if he’ll start or come off the bench,” Ancelotti said at a press conference. “Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo are two excellent players and I have no doubt that they will improve the team together.”
“What I like the most about Bale? His motivation and his desire to make an impact here at Madrid. He is very happy and humble,” added the Real Madrid manager.
