Real Sociedad travel to Catalonia to face Girona at the Estadi Montilivi in the 25th gameweek of LaLiga.

Girona will be high on confidence after their impressive come-from-behind victory over Real Madrid last weekend. Prior to the Real Madrid match, Girona had been in a real slump with no wins in 13 matches in all competitions. A win today, however, could see Eusebio Sacristán's side move 7 points clear of the drop zone and rise as high as 12th in the table.

Real Sociedad, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last 9 matches in all competitions with their last defeat coming way back in December against Alaves. A win today would ensure they are firmly back in contention for a spot in Europe, tied with Sevilla and Alaves on 37 points.

The last encounter between the two sides ended in a boring goalless draw in October last year.
