Kevin de Bruyne has hinted that Eden Hazard's transfer to Chelsea might take a few more days to become official. The Manchester City star praised his Belgian teammate and said that the transfer was well earned.

Talking about the transfer, he said:

“I think he’s fine, there’s another 4 or 5 days [with Belgium] and then he’s done, on holiday. If something happens, I know for the next 4 or 5 days nothing will happen. Why would he? Why would everybody take the risk while everybody is looking at him to go to Spain? Afterwards, he’s got enough time to do what he has got to do with Chelsea and Madrid.”
“If you do well and these teams come for you, you have earned the right to play there otherwise these teams would not come after you, in that respect I think he earned his transfer. Will that mean that he will be there [Real Madrid]? I don’t know, that depends on Chelsea.’
“I think it [his chance of winning the Ballon d’Or] stays the same. In the world Madrid is maybe a little bigger name than Chelsea but at the end of the day if you play the way that he did this season in Chelsea or he plays the same at Madrid, for me it stays the same. People who vote for it maybe think differently but that’s my opinion.”
