Bundesliga club SV Hamburg have come up with a rather unusual plan to avoid relegation and have hired the services of a spiritual healer, who’s job is to help them beat the drop according to a report in The Metro.
The Hamburg based club, who have never been relegated to the second tier of German football so far, currently lie 16th in the Bundesliga and need to gain five points to keep them in the top flight for another year.
The club have not given up hope yet and have brought in healer Joseph Kuhnert to ward off any negativity that may be blocking Hamburg’s chances of survival.
‘I bring body, soul and spirit back into harmony and accommodate the four elements,’ he said.
‘I had a special coach who trained me in the storage of high energy mountain crystals. They will be arranged in certain patterns – the Flower of Life. Really, it’s pretty easy.’
This is not Kuhnert’s first association with Hamburg, who previously hired him on a short-term contract back in 2007 to ‘balance the emotions of the squad’ during a bad spell and his methods clicked.
