FK Bodo/Glimt v Arsenal FC: Group A - UEFA Europa League
HamKam and Bodo/Glimt square off in round nine of the Norwegian Eliteserien on Monday

The action continues in round nine of the Norwegian Eliteserien as HamKam and Bodo/Glimt lock horns at the Briskeby Stadium on Monday. Jakob Michelsen’s men head into the game fresh off the back of picking up their first league win of the season and will look to build on that result.

HamKam picked up a much-needed victory last Thursday as they steamrolled Sarpsborg 7-1 when both sides squared off at the Sarpsborg Stadion.

Before that, Michelsen’s side had failed to win their opening eight league matches, losing four and claiming four draws while scoring five and conceding nine goals in that time.

With seven points from nine matches, HamKam are currently 13th in the Eliteserien table, level on points with Sandefjord and Sarpsborg.

Bodo/Glimt, on the other hand, maintained their impressive start to the season as they picked up a comfortable 4-0 victory over Tromso last time out.

Kjetil Knutsen’s men have gone unbeaten in their opening eight league games this term, picking up seven wins and one draw.

However, Bodo/Glimt suffered an early exit from the NM Cup on May 1 when they were beaten 4-2 by Lillestrom in the third round.

HamKam vs Bodo/Glimt Prediction

While HamKam will be looking to build on their emphatic victory over Sarpsborg, they face the stern challenge of taking on a Bodo/Glimt side they have failed to get the better of in their last 13 meetings.

The Glimt have flown out of the blocks this season and we see them claiming all three points once again.
