It comes as no surprise that the highest paid player in Barcelona is captain and club legend Lionel Messi, who earns a staggering €1,221,555 per week. Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho earn €403,971 each, while Sergio Busquets, who also came through the ranks at Barcelona, earns €258,074, just a little more than fellow La Masia graduate Gerard Piqué at €219,940.

Midfieders Sergi Samper and Carles Aleñá, who are also La Masia graduates and tipped for great things in the future, are the lowest earning footballers in the Barcelona first team, earning €20,976 and €14,839, respectively.

New signings Arthur and Malcom earn €84137 and €75231 per week, respectively, while 21-year-old attacker Ousmane Dembélé earns €207,164 per week at Barcelona.
