Barcelona lost their second consecutive La Liga game this season with a 1-0 loss to Celta de Vigo at the Camp Nou.

This loss comes immediately after they lost 3-1 in the Clasico to Real Madrid last weekend. It was also Luis Suarez’s home debut.

Celta Vigo took the lead in the second half thanks to Joaquin Larrivey. Nolito produced a backheel pass which Larrivey finished from the centre of the box and into the bottom right corner.

But the best performer of the night was Celta Vigo goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez who kept a clean sheet after making a number of fine saves to deny the Catalan giants.

Neymar and Messi also hit the woodwork four times in total with both players hitting it twice.

This was also the first time Barcelona have failed to score at home in the League since their 0-0 draw with Sevilla in October 2011.
