Highlights: Barcelona through to Copa del Rey final after 3-1 victory over Villarreal

Barcelona have won every leg on their way to the Copa del rey final for the first time since 1926 after having beaten Villarreal 3-1 (6-2 on aggreggrate) in tonight’s second leg of the semi-final.

As early as in the 3rd minute, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar combined to pull off an exquisite move and put paid to Villarreal’s hopes of overturning the 2-goal first leg deficit.

Sergio Busquets was on the end of an ugly tackle in the build up to Villarreal’s equalizer and had to leave the field on stretchers. Jonathan Dos Santos scored with a back-post volley in the 39th minute.

Luis Suarez and Neymar were on target in the second half as Barcelona comfortably closed out the match 3-1.

They will face either Espanyol or Athletic Bilbao in a 37th Copa del Rey final, and their fourth in the last five years.
