Tottenham goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris believes that Liverpool are playing the best football in the league and that his side should be on high alert when the two clash in the weekend.
The former Lyon keeper said “Liverpool are playing maybe the best football in the Premier League at this moment. They proved that in their last game against Wigan.”
Spurs are 12 points clear of the Reds and also in top form, owing to form of their Welsh star Gareth Bale. Lloris has also been a very crucial part of Tottenham’s rise up the table.
Despite beating Arsenal last week, the French international believes that Liverpool are no less a threat than themselves, having beaten Wigan Athletic 4-0.
With just 10 games remaining, Lloris says the club should concentrate and not lose focus, till the end of the season. He went on add, “Of course it’s better to be in this position than Arsenal although we have to keep a lucidity of the situation.” A spot in the Champions League next season is what the club is aiming for.
“We don’t know what can happen so we have to keep going, not look at the other teams and be focused on ourselves. Sunday is another game,” said the French international.
