Hanoi, Nov 4 (IANS) The Indian U-19 women's team here on Friday lost 0-4 to hosts Vietnam in their second match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-19 Championships qualifiers to bow out of the competition.

The Indian players lost concentration at crucial junctures of the match to pay dearly.

India have only one point from two matches. Vietnam will take on Iran in the last league match to decide the group winners.

Vietnam went ahead in the 35th minute when Tuyet Ngan converted from the penalty spot.

The second goal came in the 43rd minute scored again by Ngan. The Indian defence was slow to react to a long clearance and an alert Ngan poached on the opportunity.

Vietnam headed to the interval with a comfortable two-goal cushion.

India found it extremely difficult to overturn a two-goal deficit against a tactically sound Vietnam team.

India tried to push forward looking for a way into the match but suffered at the closing stages of the match.

They conceded the third goal in the 82nd minute, scored by Thi Nu. Ha Thi completed the 4-0 scoreline at the fag end of the match.
