What's the story?

Delhi Dynamos have revealed via Twitter, that the club have signed former AC Milan striker Adria Carmona to their squad with eyes on the coming Indian Super League (ISL) season.

The news will come as a pleasant surprise to fans of the Dynamos, especially since the club have largely underperformed since the inception of the league in 2014, despite signing several marquee players over the years.

In case you didn't know...

Carmona grew up in Catalonia and was spotted by Barcelona scouts who trained the kid and gave him a shot in their youth setup before he was sent to further his craft in Italy with AC Milan. Despite impressing in the reserves team, Carmona was unable to break into the senior side and moved back to Spain with teams such as Albacete, Girona and Espanyol B. Now 26-years-old, he seeks a new challenge in India.

The heart of the matter

The reveal, as can be seen above, is unique in its own way, with Delhi unveiling their player with the theme song of hit TV show "Brooklyn 99", and subsequently getting their fans pumped up for the upcoming season.

The move for Carmona comes just after the club revealed they had signed a new defender in Gianni Zuiverloon as well as Serbian forward Andrija Kaluderovic.

What's next?

Delhi Dynamos have made their intentions clear with these three big signings in just a short period of time. They are clearly gunning for the ISL crown this time around after missing out on a good opportunity in the last campaign and will hope that their new boys can do enough to bring home a first ISL trophy.
