The ATK full-back finally looks like he's back to his best. After missing the entirety of last season with an injury, he made an impressive start to this season and has held on to his spot at right-back even for this week, with an impressive performance in ATK's 1-0 win over Chennaiyin FC.

Prabir's energy allows him to bomb up and down the flank with ease, but that didn't mean he neglected his defensive duties. He made three tackles and three interceptions, in addition to six clearances, as Chennaiyin FC were denied a route to goal.

Pritam Kotal

Pritam Kotal has impressed in an unfamiliar position this season. PC:ISL

In a new position at the heart of the defence this year, ATK's skipper Pritam Kotal has adjusted really well at the start of the season, and was at the heart of the performance that helped the side secure their second successive clean sheet of the season in Chennai.

Kotal, playing on the right side of a back three, was decisive in his tackles, and ensured that the likes of Nerijus Valskis and Rafael Crivallero were denied too much space to work in.

With 5 tackles and 12 clearances, Kotal was outstanding as the last line of defence.

Juanan Gonzalez

Juanan handled the likes of Ferran Corominas and Sergio Castel impeccably this week. PC:ISL

The Spaniard's greatest strength at the heart of the Bengaluru FC defence is his ability to go unnoticed, and yet not put a foot wrong. That was in evidence in both games that Bengaluru played this week, against FC Goa and Jamshedpur FC.

Juanan was up against two high-profile strikers in Coro and Sergio Castel, and he came up trumps in both games. Until his stoppage time penalty, Coro didn't have a shot on target against Bengaluru, and Castel was kept similarly quiet.

Juanan's reading of the game and his ability to lead that defence is an asset that does wonders for Carles Cuadrat's team.

Michael Soosairaj

Michael Soosairaj has adapted seamlessly to his new club. PC:ISL.

Despite the fact that he's being played in an unnatural position at left-wing-back in a back five, Soosairaj has put in admirable performances for ATK, and that was underlined in Chennai, when he was a thorn in the Chennaiyin FC flesh all game.

His ability to dribble and take his team yards up the pitch to relieve pressure has been a massive asset for ATK, and despite it not being his strongest suit, he's not neglected his defensive duties.
