Rome, Dec 13 Italian football team head coach Cesare Prandelli said his dream is to win the World Cup with the Azzurri next year in Brazil.

“I always say to my players that if they want to dream, then they must dream big,” he said, reports Xinhua.

“Mine is to win the World Cup.”

“To have nice thoughts is positive and contagious. It has worked in the past, it can work again,” he added.

Italy were drawn into the “group of death” in the World Cup as they were not seeded according to the ranking system, which upset Prandelli.

“The ranking system needs changing, that is for sure. In the space of a few days we went from seventh to ninth,” he said.

Prandelli revealed that he is still mulling over the build-up of the 23-man squad he will take to South America.

“There are between three and five spots that need to be definitively occupied,” he explained.

“All will depend on the form and condition of a variety of players. But the doors of the national side are open to everyone, nobody is excluded,” he said.
