England striker Jay Rodriguez says that he is unsure whether Mauricio Pochettino will still be Southampton’s manager or make a move. Pochettino has been heavily linked to be the next Tottenham manager, after his hard work with Southampton in the past one and a half years, and getting Southampton to a Top 8 finish this season.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Jay Rodriguez said, "It's up in the air and we're not too sure at the moment.
"I'm just trying to focus on my rehab because that's all I really can do, and I don't want to get sidetracked by anything else.
"He (Pochettino) is unbelievable. I think anyone will say what a great manager he is and what a good guy he is, to see how well he's done with the type of football we're playing.
"I think he's worked us hard and we've seen the benefits from it so I think he's a great manager and I love playing under him."
Pochettino has done a wonderful job during his stint at St. Mary’s last season he saved Southampton from getting relegated, and made them finish in the Top 8 this term. Also has promoted youths in the first team, while playing attractive football.
