#2 Didier Deschamps and Patrick Vieira
Deschamps was the captain of the World Cup winning France team. He played as a defensive midfielder for the France international team and for several clubs like Marseille, Juventus, Chelsea and Valencia. He is one of the few players, to have won both the Champions League and UEFA Champions league as a captain.
After retiring from international Football, Deschamps went on to coaching side and managed several clubs before becoming the coach of the France Football team in 2012. He won the 2018 Fifa World Cup with France as a manager and became only the third person to win the World Cup both as a player and manager.

Vieira was one of the most important player in France's World Cup winning squad. Mainly a box to box midifelder, Vieira was know for his aggressive style of play. He enjoyed massive success at Arsenal, where he won 3 league titles and 3 fa cups. After retiring from football in 2011, he went on to coaching side and is currently the coach of Nice in French Ligue 1.
