News coming in from Spain says that Barcelona defender Sergi Roberto has picked up a knock on his Achilles tendon which might be rather severe. According to reports Roberto sustained a problem with his Achilles and was thus unable to take part in Spain’s 4-0 win against Macedonia during this round of World Cup Qualifiers. Barcelona are definitely worried because there is no clear replacement for Roberto in their ranks, with Luis Enrique not favouring Aleix Vidal.

Sergi Roberto, the young Barcelona defender made a questionable mistake against Sevilla and was directly responsible for Vitolo’s goal after failing to intercept a Samir Nasri pass and it now looks as though he has been sidelined for a considerable amount of time.
