He had little to do all night. His only job today was to retain possession and distribute well from the back. He could have done little about the own-goal. He will rarely have any easier night in his career.
Achraf: 6.5/10
The youngster was full of energy as he bombarded up and down with pace. He was solid defensively and always available for a pass. However, his end product was quite poor as Real struggled to break Getafe's defence.
Nacho: 6/10
This was a poor game by the Spaniard. He made important tackles and interceptions but was also challenged physically, especially in the second half. He was unlucky to have scored an own goal.
Ramos: 7/10
Ramos had a good game as he dominated and won everything that came his way in the air. He won headers, made blocks and clearances and was a calm head in the heart of the Real Madrid's defence.
Marcelo: 7/10
Back in his left-back role after his return from injury, he produced a mixed performance. He did make a couple of penetrating runs in attack and provided quite a few fine deliveries. He, however, was guilty of giving too much space on his side which, unfortunately, was exploited by Fajr, whose cross resulted in an own-goal.
Llorente: 7/10
The young Spaniard gave an amazing defensive display in the middle of the park as he won everything coming his way. He broke up plays and initiated attacks. An impressive performance.
Kroos: 6.5/10
Ever since his move to Real Madrid, Kroos has been Real Madrid's engine. Today was no different. He sprayed passes throughout the pitch and delivered tempting set pieces. However, it was just not enough to unlock Getafe's defence.
Vazquez: 6/10
Vazquez looked sharp in possession and enjoyed the ball at his feet. However, he just could not deliver the end product. He did win quite a few free-kicks, albeit in not so dangerous areas, which Real Madrid could not capitalise on.
Asensio: 5.5/10
The young Spaniard was anonymous and looked off-colour throughout the match. He failed to get involved much and was bereft off any ideas when in possession.
Benzema: 7/10
Benzema opened the scoring for Real Madrid with a fine solo effort. He was involved in the buildups and looked sharp upon his return from injuries. He even contributed defensively and hooked away quite a few corners in his box.
Ronaldo: 6.5/10
Ronaldo did win the match for Real Madrid, but in the end, his performance was not quite up to the standards he has set himself up. He missed an open goal and generally was not much involved in build-up plays.

He was introduced in place of Marcelo and continued his good work defensively on Madrid's left flank.
