La Liga 2016/17: Stats - Records broken as Ronaldo's hat-trick inspires Real Madrid to 4-1 win over Alaves

Cristiano Ronaldo broke his scoring drought against Deportivo Alaves

Real Madrid romped to a 4-1 win away to Deportivo Alaves, being inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo’s heroics. After Deyverson gave Alaves a shock lead in the 7th minute, Ronaldo drew level with a penalty scored in the 17th minute, which brought up a personal milestone.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s 17th minute penalty was his 350th league goal in 466 games over his career. For Sporting Clube de Portugal, he scored 3, for Manchester United he scored 84 goals and for Real Madrid he has scored 265 goals, as his two subsequent goals, in the 33rd and 88th minute took his tally to 352 league goals.

In between, Ronaldo also missed a penalty, while Alvaro Morata scored to complete the rout.


350 – Cristiano Ronaldo notched up his 350th goal in league competitions with his opening penalty in the 17th minute against Alaves, adding another two to his tally by the end of the game.
