Jasper Cillessen close to Benfica switch
Jasper Cillessen's time at Barcelona hasn't gone the way he wanted it to. The Dutch keeper has been playing second fiddle to Marc-André ter Stegen and the German has been in top form, making it impossible for the former Ajax to even get close to the #1 spot.
Reports by El Mundo Deportivo now suggest that Cillessen is set to end his 'nightmare' at Camp Nou and leave the club this summer. The same report claims that he is close to joining Benfica as they are close to agreeing a deal with the Catalan side.
Barcelona play Eibar this Sunday in their final game of LaLiga before taking on Valencia in the Copa Del Rey final. The Dutch keeper is expected to play one of the two games at least before making the switch when the transfer window opens.
