Benzema claims he's now the leader at Real Madrid

Karim Benzema is slowly getting back to form and he has now made a huge claim about himself. The Frencham has said that he is the leader of the attack after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Now I am the leader of the attack. Now I am the focal point whereas before I used to play as a supplement to Cristiano, I was always looking for him with the aim of helping him score even more goals. I was in the background, now it's up to me to show that I want to score.” Benzema told France Football.

Real Madrid eye De Ligt deal

Real Madrid are on the hunt for a long term replacement for Sergio Ramos for quite some time now. They have set sights on a lot of top players but have just now found the ideal one.

However, there seems to have been a breakthrough in this hunt as reports in Spain claim that Los Blancos are eyeing a deal for Ajax's De Ligt. €80m is what Florentino Perez is reportedly willing to spend – almost €15m more than what Barcelona were quoted in January.

Brahim Diaz regrets not picking Barcelona

Real Madrid secured the signing of Brahim Diaz from Manchester City and he has done well to settle in at his new club. However, shocking reports in Spain now claim that he is not happy with the move.

The winger reportedly had an offer to join Barcelona in the summer when his contract at Manchester City expired. But, the Cityzens decided to sell him in January as they did not want to let him go for free. Barcelona did not make an offer and Real Madrid snapped him up.
