The El Clasico naturally headlines matchday 26, but don't think that the other games have lesser significance.

Real Madrid will host Barcelona for the second time in five days as the top two teams square off at the Santiago Bernabeu. Barcelona won 3-0 on Wednesday in the Copa Del Rey, and the Blancos will be eager to exact revenge and cut Barca's lead at the top of LaLiga to 6 points.

Second-placed Atletico Madrid will face a resurgent Real Sociedad side, who are pushing for a European spot themselves. Atletico are Barca's closest challengers, and they will hope that rivals Real will do them a favor.

Real Betis will host fourth-placed Getafe, who will hope to keep their chase for a Champions League spot alive. Getafe are fourth with 39 points, and Betis are seventh with 36. The battle for European spots is very tight, as the teams in fourth to eighth place are separated by just 4 points.

Fifth-placed Sevilla will travel to struggling Huesca, hoping that a win will push them into the fourth spot at Betis' expense. Huesca are rooted to the bottom of LaLiga table, with relegation seeming like a real possibility as each week progresses.

Alaves will visit Villarreal on Saturday, hoping to sneak back into the top four. Villarreal are also in the relegation battle, and a result for them could push them out of the drop zone. Rayo Vallecano are in 19th place and they will face Girona in the early kickoff. Rayo need points for safety, and Girona are not completely safe either at this stage.

Celta Vigo are just about staying afloat at the moment, as they are 2 points clear of danger in 17th place. They will take on mid-table Eibar, who have lost just 1 out of their last 6 games. Another bottom half encounter will take place at the RCDE Stadium when Espanyol take on Valladolid.

Valencia will host Athletic Bilbao, as two sides separated by goal difference cross paths. Leganes and Levante will round off the fixtures on Monday, which is another pair of teams with the same points in the table.
