LaLiga Gameweek 3 fixtures

The third week of LaLiga fixtures gets underway tonight with three games set to be played on Friday - Getafe FC playing host to Valladolid, Girona making the tip to Villareal, and Eibar taking on Real Sociedad.

Getafe will be looking to continue with a change in form after beating Eibar after losing to Real Madrid in the opener. Valladolid will be happy to be on the road after receiving a rap from LaLiga for the questionable quality of the pitch for the loss against Barcelona last week.

Girona are coming off a 4-1 hammering against Real Real Madrid while Villareal managed to hold Sevilla to a point at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium. Eibar will be looking for a change in fortunes as they host an unbeaten Real Sociedad side.

Club Atletico de Madrid v Rayo Vallecano de Madrid - La Liga
Antoine Griezmann is off the mark for the campaign.

Saturday will see Atletico Madrid travel to Celta Vigo. Both teams won their previous encounters after managing a draw in their respective opening games. Real Madrid will be hoping to keep their 100% win record intact when they host Leganes, who have managed just 1 point their first two games.

Valencia have suffered the same fate and will be hoping to change that on Sunday when they travel to Levante who were brilliant in their opening game against Real Betis 0-3 before losing 1-2 to Celta Vigo in week 2.

Deporvito Alaves, with the same record as Valencia and Leganes, will be hosting a buoyant Espanyol side who stunned Valencia 2-0 last week.

Real Valladolid CF v FC Barcelona - La Liga
Lionel Messi had a tough time on a torrid pitch at Valladolid.

LaLiga Champions Barcelona will be hoping to keep their winning start to the season going but will be facing tricky opposition in a Huesca side who have been brilliant in their debut season in the Spanish top flight this season - Beating Eibar in the opener before salvaging a thrilling draw against Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames despite going two goals behind.

The final game of the season will see a largely ineffective side from Seville making the trip to a Real Betis who have had a similarly poor start to the campaign.

The game between Rayo Vallecano and Atheltic Bilbao has been postponed with a decision on when the game will be played still pending.
