Talking to the media, he said: “Playing at that stadium is as tough as [it] is possible in football but our performances there in recent years have been fantastic. Real Madrid were very strong, they were much better in possession and we struggled to handle the counter-attacks, but thankfully they could not score.”

“We suffered a lot, more than is usual, and we could not control the ball as we would have wanted but we won the game. It is a result which gives us confidence going into a series of important games.”

Real Madrid to sell SIX players in the summer

The defeat in El Clasico has left Florentino Perez furious. According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid president has decided to sell 6 first-team players, including 5 players who have featured regularly this season.

The president had already decided to let go of Isco and Keylor Navas in the summer with Marcelo joining the list last week. The left-back is looking to join Juventus and Los Blancos are planning to sign his replacement.

However, it's the three players that have been added to the list that has sent shockwaves among the Madridistas. Toni Kroos, Dani Carvajal and Casemiro have been added to the list of players Perez wants sold as replaced as per the report.

Messi wants Felix Correia at Barcelona

Lionel Messi has always supported upcoming talents and has asked Barcelona to sign a lot of them at a very young age. The Argentine has added one more player to the list and informed Barcelona to sign Felix Correia according to reports in Spain.

The Portuguese teenager has been in top form and has caught the eye of several top European sides. Liverpool, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and AS Monaco have made attempts to sign him but have all failed.
