Samuel Umtiti to undergo knee plasma treatment
Barcelona are set to give Samuel Umtiti a knee plasma treatment before his knee surgery according to AS. The Spanish report suggests that the Catalan side are desperate to get him fit soon.
The French defender reportedly played at the FIFA World Cup with a twinge in his knee. He is now expected to be out of action for some time and that leaves Valverde with Pique and Lenglet as the centre-back choices.
Barcelona identify Luis Suarez's replacement
Luis Suarez has not been scoring a lot of goals lately and Barcelona are looking to replace him. Don Balon reports that the Catalan side have set sights on Gabriel Jesus, Timo Werner and Harry Kane.
All three strikers have been in top form for over a year and have attracted interest from other top clubs too. Bayern Munich were chasing Timo Werner while Real Madrid have also been linked with him.
