Jordi Alba agrees new contract at Barcelona
Jordi Alba has got his wishes. The left-back was desperate to sign a new deal at Barcelona and reports suggest that he has agreed terms with the Catalan side.

The 29-year-old has been openly asking the club for a new contract and they have finally offered him one. The left-back is now reportedly set to continue at Camp Nou for the next 5 years!
This comes just a day after Joseph Bartomeu confirmed that he wants Alba to stay at the club. “I want both [Ernesto] Valverde and Jordi Alba to continue with us and they both have a contract. I have already told Alba that I want him to continue with us for five more years,” said the president.
His current deal was set to expire at the end of the 2019/20 season. But with the new deal, he is set to stay at the club until the summer of 2024.
