Ex-Cameroon star player and legend, Roger Milla insisted that he wanted to see Eto’o back in Cameroon colours and participate in the knockout stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Samuel Eto’o earlier had stated that he would retire from international football.

As per Supersports’ reports, Eto’s recently had told his team-mates about his plans of quitting international football, after they defeated Libya 1-0.

However, many officials in the central African country considered it as a bluff from the striker, and team coach Volker Finke, who had refused to confirm Eto’o’s decision, has included the 32-year-old forward in his initial 25-man squad for the Tunisia clash.

Roger Milla said: “If I’m asked to go and bring Eto’o back home I’d do it freely and with pleasure. Even if he has decided to longer play for Cameroon, he should come first and honour the call up. To me, Eto’o is still a member of Cameroon national team and we are seriously counting on him for qualification to the Brazil 2014. I urge him to come and be with his mates and help us qualify.”

Samuel Eto’o is yet to confirm his participation in the first leg against Tunisia, which is scheduled on October 13 in Rades.
