Arsenal to not make a move for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang
Ahead of the club's FA Cup clash against Nottingham Forest, Arsene Wenger has revealed that the Gunners will not try to sign Dortmund's Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese forward has scored 21 goals this season and is being linked with a move away from Germany. But Wenger has said today that taking Aubameyang on board is not a possibility for his side.
Schalke angered by Bayern Munich's comments on Leon Goretzka
Schalke chief executive Christian Heidel has blasted Bayern Munich over their public approach for Leon Goretzka. Munich's club official had admitted that the Bavarians were interested in signing the in-demand midfielder which irked the Schalke hierarchy.
Heidel said, "We do not want any unrest at Schalke. Bayern insist Leon is a Schalke player but still talk about a Schalke player more than they do any of their own. As a result, the transfer rumours are fuelled."
