Liverpool FC v Wolverhampton Wanderers - Premier League

Two first-half goals ensured a comfortable 2-0 victory for Liverpool over Wolverhampton Wanderers in Jurgen Klopp's last game in the Premier League on Sunday, May 19.

Following the 3-3 draw against Aston Villa, Klopp made just one change to the side. Andrew Robertson replaced Joe Gomez at left-back for the German's last ever lineup.

Wolves, meanwhile, made three changes following a loss to Crystal Palace. Jose Sa, Hugo Bueno and Jeanricner Bellegarde came in for Dan Bentley, Matt Doherty and Adama Traore.

Following a good start for the hosts, Wolves were reduced to 10 men in the 26th minute after a reckless challenge from Nelson Semedo on Alexis Mac Allister. He was initially shown a yellow, which was upgraded to a red by the VAR.

Liverpool soon capitalized on the advantage, taking the lead in the 34th minute. Mac Allister found the bottom corner with a great header from a cross from Harvey Elliott to make it 1-0.

Jarell Quansah doubled their lead six minutes later, knocking home a loose ball after Mohamed Salah's shot was deflected into his path.

#4 Flop - Mohamed Salah

Despite a brilliant season, Salah was not at his brilliant best on the day against Wolves. He was wasteful at times with the ball and could not find the back of the net in his usual clinical manner, missing two big chances.

#3 Hit - Jarell Quansah

The youngster has bagged in back-to-back games, scoring the Reds' second. He has also proven himself to be a reliable option at the back and could get mroe minutes next season with Joel Matip's departure.

#2 Flop - Nelson Semedo

A horrible tackle from Semedo put his side on the back foot for the rest of the game. His reckless dive into Mac Allister in the first half meant Wolves had no chance of taking anything away from Liverpool.

#1 Hit - Alexis Mac Allister

Mac Allister put in a brilliant performance in midfield and got on the scoresheet with a great header as well. He finished the game with three chances created, a pass completion rate of 95 percent (38/40) and won seven duels.
