#2 Tottenham’s quick build-ups troubled Liverpool

Tottenham played in a 3-5-2 formation with Harry Kane and Lucas Moura as their two forwards. Son Heung-min was dropped from the starting XI because of his poor form, and Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose played as the wingbacks.

Tottenham started bothering Liverpool with quick build-ups after half-time, and one such build-up led to the equalizer.

Kane was fouled near the half-line, and recovered rapidly to take the free-kick at the earliest. His delivery was aimed at an advancing Trippier through the right flank, who went near the goal-line before delivering a cross to Lucas inside the Liverpool box.

The Brazilian made no mistake in scoring his 10th goal for Tottenham.

Moussa Sissoko got yet another golden opportunity to score a goal from a swift counter-attack by Tottenham. However, his lack of attacking skills was apparent, as he blasted the ball over the goal from the edge of the Liverpool penalty box.
