Juventus join race for Danny Rose

The Serie A champions are looking to bolster their side for this season's title defence and have reportedly joined the race for Tottenham Hotspur's wantaway star Danny Rose.

The Englishman has publicly expressed his desire to move to a bigger club and had triggered speculation when he was linked to a plethora of clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, recent reports from Italy suggest that Juventus have now joined the race and would like to snap up the defender before the window closes later this week.

Inter Milan close in on Shkodran Mustafi

The Arsenal wantaway star has been pushing at an exit, and Serie A side Inter Milan have been reported to be a potential destination. Inter have been bolstered by the financial backing of new Chinese owners and have been incredibly active this summer, much like rivals AC Milan.

Mustafi arrived at Arsenal just a year ago but hasn't really settled down. The German is believed to be urging Arsenal to let him go, with reports from Mail Online claiming that the 25-year old has even agreed personal terms already.

Juventus still pursuing Kevin Strootman

According to Football Italia, Juventus are set to step up their pursuit of Roma's Kevin Strootman in the next few days. Despite signing Blaise Matuidi from Juventus earlier this summer, Massimiliano Allegri is still keen on another midfielder.

The reports indicate that the Serie A champions will make a bid of around €40 million. The Dutchman has a release clause of €45 million, but Juventus are trying to negotiate it down a notch.
