Liverpool face major setback on preparations

Liverpool might have to go less prepared for their match against West Ham this weekend as the players were unexpectedly left stranded in Italy last night.

They were scheduled to be back in Liverpool today morning, but the flight that was supposed to take them back developed engine problems and returned to the airport. The pilot informed the squad saying that warning lights flashed compelling him to take the decision.

The Reds waited at the airport before they traveled 30 miles back to the city of Udine. The officials have asked for a plane as early as possible to help them prepare for Sunday’s Premier League clash.
