What's the rumour?
Liverpool have made some astute signings ever since Jurgen Klopp has taken over and now latest reports in Daily Mail claim that the Reds have re-emerged as contenders in the race to sign highly promising Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic.
Capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or a winger, Pulisic can definitely provide support to the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. Still only 19, the USA international is already one of Dortmund's most important players and is tipped to become a world-class player in the future.

Having made his Borussia Dortmund debut way back in 2016, the youngster is known for his technical skills, dribbling, and playmaking ability. With Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Arsenal all said to be interested in Pulisic, Liverpool might have to stave off stiff competition in order to sign their man.
Jurgen Klopp, who was, of course, the former manager of Dortmund has been in regular contact with Dortmund director Michael Zorc. However, Zorc played down any talks of a Liverpool bid for the youngster.
"I am in constant exchange with Jurgen Klopp, but I am not aware of this," said Zorc. With clubs ready to pay a huge sum to secure the services of Pulisic, it only seems like a matter of time before we see Pulisic plying his trade in either the Premier League.

While Liverpool have been absolutely thrilling this season, their lack of squad depth has been visible in the past few weeks in the league. With no quality alternatives for the likes of Mane and Salah, the Reds have really struggled to make an impact when they have been forced to rest their speedy wingers.
With Liverpool looking to compete on multiple fronts next season, the arrival of a versatile player like Pulisic will certainly add quality and depth to the Liverpool squad.
