Liverpool are on the lookout to replace Coutinho

What's the rumour?

Liverpool lost Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window to Barcelona and now latest reports in Italian site Calciomercato.com claim that the Reds could be looking to sign former player Suso in the summer transfer window as the Brazilian's replacement.

The AC Milan playmaker has been in fine form and even earned a call-up to the Spanish national team. With Calciomercato reporting that his release clause is only €40 million, the Reds could very well make the move to get the player back to Anfield in the summer transfer window.

The heart of the matter

A player very similar to Coutinho, Suso has the ability to play on either of the wings or as an attacking midfielder. Technically gifted and blessed with excellent vision and passing ability, Suso has taken his game to new heights at Milan.

Capable of unlocking stubborn defences with brilliant through-balls, Suso for just €40 million seems like a very good bargain and according to Calciomercato's Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are just one among the many clubs keen on signing the talented Spaniard.
